Piludi – Font Converter empowers web designers, software developers, typographers, branding agencies, and creators to convert between desktop and web font formats (TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, EOT), inspect binary SFNT tables and glyph metrics, and test fonts within an interactive live preview sandbox.

2. Privacy by Design (Core Principles)

  • 100% Local On-Device Processing: All font format transcoding, table repackaging, Brotli/ZLib compression, and metadata parsing occur entirely on your local Windows PC.
  • Proprietary Font Licensing Protection: Your custom corporate typefaces, commercial font licenses, and unreleased typography designs are never uploaded to or processed on remote cloud servers.
  • Ephemeral Live Preview Sandbox: Any sample text, pangrams, or confidential phrases you type into the interactive live preview tester remain solely in temporary computer RAM and are never recorded, cached, or transmitted.
  • Zero Telemetry or Data Collection: We do not embed analytics libraries, crash telemetry trackers, or behavioral logging scripts.
  • Fully Usable Offline: The application does not require an active internet connection to convert or inspect typography.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Piludi – Font Converter functions strictly as a private, offline workstation. We do not collect, monitor, store, or share:

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect your name, email address, physical location, IP address, or payment details.
  • Font File Content & Intellectual Property: We never copy, view, harvest, or transmit your font files, OpenType layout tables, proprietary glyph designs, or licensing metadata.
  • Typed Sample Text: The custom text you enter into the Live Typography Tester is strictly rendered to the screen in memory and is immediately discarded when changed or closed.
  • Device Identifiers: We do not collect hardware MAC addresses, motherboard serials, or digital system fingerprints.
  • Usage Metrics: We do not monitor how frequently you launch the software, how many fonts you convert, or which font formats you choose.

4. How the Application Operates (Local Permissions)

To provide accurate typography conversion on Windows, Piludi – Font Converter utilizes standard local file system access:

1. Local File System Reading: When you import font files via drag-and-drop or the file picker, the application reads the binary font structure locally from your storage drive to parse tables and generate target formats.

2. Local File System Writing: Converted font files are written strictly to the local directory path chosen by you. The application never alters or deletes your original source font files.

3. Local Temporary Memory Buffer: During font compression (such as WOFF2 Brotli compression), temporary memory buffers may be utilized. These buffers reside solely in your local RAM and temporary folder (AppData\Local\Temp) and are cleared upon task completion.

5. Third-Party Services & Store Distribution

  • Microsoft Store: When obtained via the Microsoft Store, installation, download verification, and automatic updates are governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement. DesignoFly Studio does not receive or maintain your Microsoft account credentials or payment information.
  • Zero External Dependencies: The application contains no third-party tracking scripts, advertising networks, or external cloud analytics endpoints.

6. Data Security

Because Piludi – Font Converter does not communicate over the internet or upload files to external servers, your commercial fonts and proprietary typefaces are entirely safe from unauthorized cloud extraction, online leaks, or server breaches. Security is guaranteed by your local Windows user access controls.

7. Children’s Privacy

Piludi – Font Converter does not collect information from any individual, including children under the age of 13. The application is completely safe, offline, and suitable for all age groups.
